Toyota designers matched the 2023 Tundra’s sophisticated performance to a modern body design that draws on the concept of “Technical Muscle” to convey its toughness and capability. Under the 2023 Tundra's exterior is a fully boxed ladder frame, designed for superior handling, strength and rigidity.
Inside the 2023 Tundra, both cabs provide comfortable seating for up to five adults, with the CrewMax delivering even greater space in the back row. The dashboard features a horizontal layout theme with an instrument panel and centre stack that flow seamlessly into the overall interior layout. Premium materials reflect Tundra’s heritage as a truck that’s equally at home on the jobsite or the campsite, while the overall design balances angular lines with muscular refinement.
Incredible power and torque.
The i-FORCE 3.5L twin-turbo V6 engine paired with a 10-speed electronically controlled automatic transmission with intelligence features sequential shift mode and two TOW/HAUL driving modes. Most gas-powered models generate 389 peak horsepower and up to 479 lb-ft of torque, while the value-priced SR grades produce 348 peak horsepower and up to 405 lb-ft of torque.
With a double wishbone suspension up front, and a 5-link multi-coil suspension in the rear, Tundra boasts exceptional ride comfort and straight-line stability.
Tundra's bed is formed from a new high-strength Sheet-Molded Compound that offers added protection against rust, dents and dings. The 2023 Tundra has a max payload capacity of 1,940 pounds (880 kg).*
The 2023 Tundra fuel efficiency ratings are 13.5/10.6L/100km.

2023 Tundra Hybrid
The Tundra i-FORCE MAX turns the 2023 Tundra's powertrain into a hybrid system with a motor/generator and clutch located within the bell housing to pack an impressive punch – delivering 437 peak horsepower and up to 583 lb-ft of torque – including grunt-worthy amounts of torque from a standing start and a towing rating of up to 5,067 kg (11,170 lbs). Tundra's i-FORCE MAX is the most powerful Tundra ever and is ready to take-on most any terrain or task you need to tackle.
2023 Tundra TRD Sport
The 2023 Tundra TRD Sport builds on the SR5 trim level that features Toyota Multimedia with an eight-inch touchscreen display, a 4.2-inch multi-information display, fabric upholstery, power-adjustable and heated front row seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, a tilting/telescoping steering column, truck bed header rails, windshield wiper de-icer, bi-beam LED headlamps, LED fog lamps, the Toyota Smart Key System with Push Button Start, a leather-wrapped heated steering wheel and leather-wrapped shift knob, a larger fuel tank, and an active front spoiler. The 3.5L twin turbo V6 engine generates 389 peak horsepower and up to 479 lb-ft of torque, plus a three-setting drive mode select system and hill start assist control. The TRD Sport version adds 20” sport alloy wheels and TRD sport-tuned shock absorbers, a TRD Grille, Toyota’s Blind Spot Monitor system with Rear Cross Traffic Alert, and Intuitive Parking Assist with Automatic Braking.
2023 Tundra TRD Off Road
The 2023 Tundra TRD Off Road also builds on the SR5 trim level with TRD off road shock absorbers, TRD grille, a TRD heated steering wheel and TRD leather-wrapped shift knob, a rear locking differential, Multi-Terrain Select system, downhill assist control, crawl control, and 18” off road alloy wheels. This model does not feature the active front spoiler.
2023 Tundra TRD Pro.
Combined to the technologically advanced 437 horsepower i-FORCE MAX hybrid-electric powertrain, the 2023 Tundra TRD Pro fears nothing - on or off the road.
The 2023 Tundra i-FORCE MAX TRD Pro builds on the TRD Off Road (5.5-foot bed) trim level, adding a 12-speaker JBL premium audio system, TRD Pro Off Road suspension with front lift, 2.5-inch Fox internal bypass coil-overs, and rear remote-reservoir shock absorbers, auto-levelling headlamps, a TRD Pro front stabilizer bar, TRD skid plate and rock rail, and TRD PRO black forged BBS wheels. This model then proclaims its ready-for-anything attitude via several unique styling cues, including a TRD Pro heritage “TOYOTA” grille with LED light bar, black dual exhaust with TRD logo, TRD Pro stamped tailgate, smoked headlamps and fog lamps, exterior amber marker lights, “technical camouflage” exterior accents, front seats featuring TRD Pro logos and technical camo patterned inserts, a TRD Pro hood badge, and “TOYOTA” badging on the passenger side dash panel.
2023 Tundra i-FORCE MAX 1794 Edition
The 2023 Tundra i-FORCE MAX 1794 Edition pays tribute to the ranch on which Toyota’s Tundra manufacturing plant is located in San Antonio, Texas. This model applies unique styling to the Platinum trim level that features a 12-speaker JBL premium audio system, full leather seating, heated and ventilated front and rear seats, additional power adjustments on the front row seats, a head up display, digital rear view mirror, active noise control system, a power tilting/telescoping steering column with memory system, rain sensing wipers, the Toyota Panoramic View monitor, trailer backup guide technology with straight path assist, an active front spoiler, triple beam LED headlights, and ambient cabin lighting. The 1794 Edition applies unique styling to the Platinum trim level, including authentic wood trim and chrome accents.
Stay connected like never before.
Every 2023 Tundra is factory-fitted with the Toyota Multimedia system. This system, which integrates wirelessly with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, features Toyota’s newest interface, which improves interaction between people and vehicle through voice, sight, and touch. Many functions may be controlled via the touch screen via the same gestures used on mobile phone screens.
Safety
As a Toyota, every Tundra is also a safety powerhouse – featuring an impressive bundle of active and passive safety technologies. All models feature Toyota Safety Sense 2.5, designed to enhance driver awareness, decision-making, and control. Its advanced active safety features includes : Lane Tracing Assist, Automatic High Beams, Left Turn Intersection Support, Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection & Bicycle Detection, Full Speed Range Dynamic Radar Cruise Control with Curve Speed Management, and Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist with enhanced Line and Road Recognition.
Available on most 4X4 models, Tundra's Blind Spot Monitor alerts you to vehicles that may have entered your blind spot on either side.
Other safety features factory fitted on all models include the Toyota Star Safety System, a backup camera, and eight air bags.
