The 2025 Toyota Tacoma Hybrid brings an exciting redesign that blends style, rugged performance, and modern technology. The Tacoma Hybrid showcases a bold front grille with a unique pattern, flanked by sleek, modern LED headlights that enhance its aggressive and commanding presence. The truck's body features sculpted lines and muscular wheel arches, contributing to its overall rugged look. Its dimensions are carefully optimized to provide the perfect balance between urban maneuverability and off-road capability, making it suitable for a variety of driving environments.
Inside, the 2025 Tacoma Hybrid offers seating for up to five passengers. The interior is designed with durability and comfort in mind, featuring SofTex-trimmed seats that are both supportive and resilient for daily commutes or off-road adventures. Dual-zone automatic climate control ensures that both the driver and passengers can maintain their preferred temperature, no matter the weather outside. The 2025 Tacoma Hybrid also comes standard with heated and ventilated front seats, a heated leather-wrapped steering wheel and leather-wrapped shift knob.
Driven by the powerful i-FORCE MAX Hybrid Powertrain
For truly impressive, adventure-launching performance, the Tacoma Hybrid i-FORCE MAX feature a hybrid powertrain built around the 2.4L turbocharged four-cylinder engine. These models – three with on-demand four-wheel-drive, and a fourth with full-time four-wheel-drive – deliver 326 system horsepower and an impressive 465 lb-ft of torque. This translates into an equally impressive towing capability of up to 5,950 pounds.
2025 Tacoma Hybrid TRD Pro
The 2025 Tacoma Hybrid i-FORCE MAX TRD Pro builds on the TRD Off Road Premium grade, adding a TOYOTA heritage grille with LED light bar, Rigid fog lamps, TRD Performance air intake and exhaust, 18-inch TRD Pro alloy wheels with black lug nuts clad in 33-inch Goodyear Territory RT tires, FOX shock absorbers with three manually-selectable damping settings, a stabilizer with disconnection mechanism, a power tailgate and bump switch, an ARB steel rear bumper with 2 red recovery hooks, aluminum front skid plate, rocker protector, a head up display, power adjustable IsoDynamic Performance front row seats, and a digital rear view mirror. New this year, this truck is enhanced with four high output auxiliary switches, red front recovery hooks, and is available with a new Mudbath colour.
2025 Tacoma Hybrid Trailhunter
The 2025 Tacoma Hybrid i-FORCE MAX Trailhunter is the pickup truck that’s rough, rugged, and ready to explore. Also starting with the TRD Off Road Premium grade, this truck is fitted with a longer, six-foot bed with power tailgate and bump switch, bed utility bar with removable MOLLE panels, bed scene lighting, and an ARB steel rear bumper with 2 red recovery hooks. This model rides on exclusive 18-inch Trailhunter alloy wheels clad in 33-inch Goodyear Territory RT tires, and features Old Man Emu shock absorbers, a stabilizer with disconnection mechanism, hot stamped steel skid plates to protect the front, transfer case, and rear, and rock rails. Other features on the Trailhunter include TOYOTA heritage front grille with LED light bar, dual colour Rigid fog lamps, a high mount air intake, a roof rack, a head up display, digital rear view mirror, and an onboard air compressor. New this year, this truck is now fitted with four auxiliary switches, red front recovery hooks, and is available with a new Underground colour.
2025 Tacoma Hybrid’s Technology
The 2025 Tacoma Hybrid is equipped with a comprehensive array of advanced technology features designed to enhance both convenience and safety for drivers and passengers. The centerpiece of the interior tech is the 14-inch Toyota Multimedia touchscreen, which serves as the central hub for navigation, entertainment, and vehicle settings. This large, high-resolution display provides easy access to key functions, allowing for seamless control of various vehicle features. It also supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, enabling drivers to connect their smartphones to the system without the need for cables, ensuring smooth and efficient access to apps, music, and more while on the go.
For added connectivity, the 2025 Tacoma Hybrid offers an array of advanced services. Toyota's Service Connect feature allows drivers to access vehicle health information, maintenance reminders, and diagnostic data through a smartphone app. Safety Connect provides emergency assistance in the event of an accident, vehicle theft tracking, and the ability to request roadside assistance. Meanwhile, Remote Connect gives drivers the ability to start their truck, lock/unlock doors, and even locate the vehicle remotely, all through a smartphone app.
Additionally, the Tacoma Hybrid includes Drive Connect offering cloud-based navigation and intelligent voice recognition.
