The 2024 RAV4 family includes eight hybrid grades, showcasing Toyota’s hybrid technology. This efficient powertrain features a 2.5L Dynamic Force 4-cylinder engine, high-torque motor-generators, continuously variable transmission, and efficient storage batteries. The result is 219 net system horsepower and 221 lb-ft of torque – for fast, confident acceleration, impressive fuel efficiency, and no need to plug in. All 2024 RAV4 Hybrid models ride on an electronic on-demand all wheel drive system featuring a dedicated electric motor at each wheel to channel torque where it’s needed. It achieves a city/highway/combined fuel efficiency rating of just 5.8L/6.3L/6.0L/100 km.

With a dedicated electric motor at each wheel, every 2024 RAV4 Hybrid models channel torque where you need it most based on driving conditions - from 100 percent to the front wheels to maximize efficiency, to an even 50:50 split between front and rear for superior traction, and exceptional handling and stability when accelerating and cornering.

 

 

Technology showcase

Every member of the 2024 RAV4 Hybrid family is a technology showcase, headlined by the Toyota Multimedia system. This system is a bundle of start connectivity technologies that keep drivers informed and safe while simplifying their lives behind the wheel. Toyota Multimedia integrates wirelessly with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and features Toyota’s newest interface, which improves interaction between people and vehicle through sight, voice, and touch. Many functions may be controlled via the touch screen via the same gestures used on mobile phone screens.

Other standard safety features include the Toyota Star Safety System, a backup camera, eight airbags, the Blind Spot Monitor System with Rear Cross Traffic Alert, and an engine immobilizer.

 

 

2024 RAV4 Hybrid Woodland Edition

The 2024 RAV4 Hybrid Woodland Edition is a limited production model that enhances this SUV’s style and off-road capabilities. This model builds on the XLE grade, adding 18” bronze TRD Off-Road wheels, a TRD tuned suspension, Falken WILDPEAK AT tires, trail-style roof rails, roof cross bars, black exhaust tips, LED fog lamps, unique Woodland all-weather floor mats and cargo tray, a 120V/100W AC power outlet in the cargo area, and an activity mount.

New this year, the Woodland Edition receives a number of style enhancements – including black front and rear skid plates, black mirror caps, a black back door garnish, and black door handles. It is available with a new Army Green colour.
